Due to demand, we are adding a Scholastic Award Writing Program for fall, 2026, run by Miss Lisa, an author and six-time regional and national judge of this competition. We will accept ten students and help them generate fiction ideas, learn plotting technique, and develop the skills to polish their own entry. In the middle of the 18 hour course, offered Saturdays from September to November, all students will create a complete first draft on their own. They will be taught the skills to self-edit a strong entry! Not only will they come away with a piece to submit to this prestigious competition, but they will gain writing skills that will last a lifetime. Check out the flyer here.
